How to disable display brightness

Display brightness resetting to 50% every time your computer is logged off

Steps how to disable the display brightness resetting:

  • Click on Start Menu
  • Search for ‘Task Scheduler‘
  • In the left pane of the Task Scheduler, navigate to the following directory
Task Scheduler Library > Microsoft > Windows > Display > Brightness

OR

Right click the Brightness Reset task and Disable to resolve the issue
